He used to drive a big "R" marked truck. He's got memories, stories and jokes he often liked to share. One day he heard on the radio, so present during his road trips, about the new band, "THE TRACKERS" looking for the members with no prior training. He overheard it as "THE TRUCKERS" and got really excited. Although he gave up his profession to join the band, he kept the habit of being constantly alert, using peripheral vision, and watching his both sides and the back. It was not only a band but also a big grant project to track the "learnability" and researching the way how people new to music field learn. Kevin picked the drums, as it was the closest instrument to his experience. The project filled up his days for a year. It was more then just studies. The whole band was divided into sections and they spent time with various teachers, rehearsed together, took tests, then were asked to switch instruments and teachers, take more tests and rehearse together again. After a year, they knew it all. They felt they won something. This is how Kevin became a musician and joined the Orchestra.

The era of eighties rock is hanus
Men dressing in drag was famous
They thought they were cool
Now look back and drool
At how stupid they were to do this!

The Bass Drum

The bass drum is a very powerful drum that is more often felt rather than heard. It sets the beat in many pieces. It was originally called the Turkish drum because it was used a lot in Turkish music.

The bass drum is held vertically and is hit with different mallets. Each mallet produces a different tone.

Some famous pieces that include the bass drum are:

Haydn: Military Symphony
Beethoven: Ninth Symphony
