A. Ursyn Orchestra: Jazz Vocalist Jeanne Antoinette
Previous Home Next
Jeanne-Antoinette was born with a beautiful voice and dimmed diction. They all kept saying one could learn good vocal expression, especially pronunciation and enunciation of words in singing, but not her. She was just wired that way. The sounds she produced were clear, vivid and deep, so she was often asked to join the groups and performers. Her voice sounded its best when she was reclining. The club she worked for was equipped with various types of furniture, so finding a sofa for her performances was easy. Not only her music was highly appreciated, but also the decorations that were limited to the small carpet she could step on when she finished her singing.
