Des washed his cell phone in a washer (he left it in the pocket of his pants). He tried to call his own number, but it would not ring. For three days he used a dry blower to dry the phone with, and then the phone started to work again. Most of people he told about it, answered with their cell-phone-in-a-toilet stories. At least his was a clean one.
