They lived in an endless space, but could travel with a speed of light. Their jobs were picked on their talents and preferences, and were guided by themselves. This meant, whatever they wanted to do was appreciated and automatically considered as a part of the database open for collaborative efforts. There was no need for the leaders, bosses, or supervisors, as anything one would do was appreciated as having potential for future efforts. They could work from a place of they choosing. There was no copyright, and all of them had an access to the database, to search what they needed to learn, or use. Their assets were automatically growing each year, thus as their living conditions and the sizes of their houses, but since they lived in an unconstrained space, it did not create problems for anybody.  There was no reason for any form of comparison. Every task they played had awards for different skills, so each player could get an award in different skills.
Due to some special filters everybody looked alike. One could live with any amount of roommates, still having an access to various households and join it for any amount of time. No one owned anyone, so there were no separations. Some of them mastered musical instruments. In the evening they discussed their talents and preferences as a part of the database open for collaborative efforts. They were never bored this way. Every night they were telling each other all the nice things about their contribution to their System.
They lived forever.
