Tai had to collect it all for his house to live at the most possible cutting edge. He owned practically every newly developed gadget way before his brother in law could.
His wildest dream was to go to a remote, distant place with dwelling as basic yet sophisticated, as possible and to adapt them for musical performances. He selected Leadville in Colorado. This city grew up so fast, that one could find almost every type of nesting possible for the region.
He started reconstructing ideas when building houses, just as they used to be built in old times in Aspen, Georgetown, Telluride, or Walden.
His dwellings/architecture were developed in phases:

  1. Temporary shelters
  2. Log cabins one room, with no window
  3.  Slab sided
  4. Balloon framed transition from log buildings to slab sided
  5. Multistoried masonry buildings
  6. The last one mimicked his own house

The City of Las Vegas sued him.
