Timpani Greg always felt nervous. He thought his shyness caused it. But that wasn't it, he was blocked whenever someone spoke to him. He always felt insecure so he questioned all decisions or moves that he made. This was unbearable and almost painful to him. He analyzed all the tasks he performed, whether it was sweeping a floor or making a phone call, and he always felt he could have done better. However, he did not consider himself a perfectionist. When he played, he thought about each and every contact with his instrument. Thus, his play was subtle, cooling, and rang nicely in the listeners’ ears. When he attended parties, he felt secure and radiant. He was a lion when they let him talk about his instrument.
